Experience one of Central Nebraska’s most scenic runs on the Dark Island Trail! This half marathon takes participants across the iconic Bader Bridge with stunning Platte River views and miles of beautifully wooded, shaded trail. Along the route, runners will also experience stretches of native prairie and scenic Nebraska farmland, creating a diverse and memorable running experience.

Whether you’re a competitive runner chasing a personal best, a first-time half marathoner, or simply looking to enjoy a fun and supportive race atmosphere, this event is for you. All experience levels are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Every registration directly supports the maintenance and preservation of the Dark Island Trail — a trail built by the community, for the community.

Registration Options:
• Individual Half Marathon (13.1 miles) — $35
• Two-Person Relay Team (6.55 miles each) — $25 per runner

Packet Pickup: 6:30 AM outside the Fox Theater
Check-In: 6:30 AM
Race Start: 7:15 AM

Race Support:
Water and Gatorade stations approximately every 2 miles
